About Julie, the Founder
There is absolutely nothing about Julie Girgenti that can be described as ordinary.
From the boundless energy and infectious charisma that bowls you over when you first meet her, to the won’t-take-no-for-an-answer can-do attitude that laughs in the face of the most daunting challenge, she is a woman who seems to thrive on the very limit of what’s possible.
There are event organisers and then there’s Julie Girgenti: petite in stature, yet impossible to miss in the most crowded of rooms, she’s unfailingly elegant and impossibly charming. Her passion for creating once-in-a-lifetime events remembered long after they’re over is such an unstoppable force of nature that one is left with really no option but to follow in its wake.
It’s no wonder, then, that she named her company Exceptional Events and this new brand Your Perfect Party. The whole premise of the UK company she heads and the marquee celebrations she organises is that they should transcend the highest possible expectations of the people who commission them.
For Julie it is simply not enough to be great if there’s a chance to be extraordinary. While her clients aim for the very best they can imagine, a hand-picked team of specialist artisan suppliers work with Julie’s Exceptional Events team to explore what lies beyond the client’s imagination – and then deliver it in the most jaw-dropping style possible.

Jessica McCullagh
Jessica’s working career started in fundraising for charity but she’s always loved parties! She moved from the charity sector to set up her own events company specialising in organising charity fundraising events. She is passionate about creating something with a fantastic team in order to bring people together to have an amazing time. Recently, she has loved being involved with virtual events with Your Perfect Party. Jessica lives in London, England with her husband Chris.
Catrina Pengelley
Catrina has spent her career working through all aspects of hospitality from culinary to front office. She is high energy, enthusiastic and passionate about making people smile. Over the last few years Catrina has further developed her hospitality knowledge by planning and executing multiple events and conferences from 10 to 1000 people. As the world turned virtual, so did she. Now, as a part of the Your Perfect Party team, Catrina looks to bring her energy and enthusiasm online to bring smiles to her clients.
David Hall
David is a creative: an Actor, Voice-over, Writer and Presence Coach. He’s also a former Science Teacher! As an actor, David has worked in everything from tiny village halls to Shakespeare’s Globe and London’s West End – and as a Coach he’s travelled the world working with executives and leaders from a wide range of companies from Coca-Cola and P&G to American Express and Oliver Wyman. He also works 1:1 and now teaches Executive Presence and Communication Skills online too. He has performed and presented at many events and product launches too and worked as a professional role-player in a very wide-range of organisations. David is thrilled to be part of the terrific Your Perfect Party team, bringing joy, love, amazement and connection to an even wider audience!
